Job Description

Our National Quality Manager is looking for an outstanding Compliance Manager to join their highly skilled and high-performing team. This role will be based across the South of the UKand you will be supporting a number of DPD sites/locations. There will be considerable travel within the role.

Key responsibilities of the role will include;
  • Monitor network loss claims and liaise with depots to reduce losses
  • Establish areas of focus - training or compliance.
  • Review operational data reports to highlight key depots to support
  • Review operational processes to identify best practice to ensure loss reduction
  • Liaise with Regional Managers and Operational depot teams to deliver an improvement in operational compliance.
  • Look for areas to improve on current processes to continuously improve all business functions that can impact on claims and culture.
  • Working alongside the Customer Relationship Management team to identify and support customers with high-levels of claims (loss and damage).
  • Support all depots to minimise losses and ensure compliance
  • To provide weekly updates on loss and damage claims and fully understanding claims levels.
  • Support the Central Services department in the combined initiatives that support the wider business strategy.
  • Support key projects in the business.


To be considered for this role you will be process driven and you must have demonstrable experience within a compliance or similarly related discipline.

Strong analytical and implementation skills and the ability to identify any trends and monitor them accordingly are essential requirements in this role. Knowledge of logistics /distribution and of working in a large scale fast paced environment would be advantageous.

We would also expect;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
  • Computer literate i.e. Word, Excel, Google Suites
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of all DPDgroup operational processes.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • High levels of security awareness with a keen eye for detail
  • Be proficient in the use of DPD systems i.e. Saturn & Universe.
  • Ability to interpret details and identify trends
  • Ability to lead and challenge colleagues and process to look for continuous improvement.
  • Be able to prioritise based on a cost vs benefit basis.
  • Be fully accountable

A full clean driving licence is essential as is a flexible approach to travel and overnight stays.
