Job Introduction
Our award-winning content studio (Reach Inventions) is hiring a Content Strategist to join our hugely successful team.

So firstly - who are we, and what do we do? Well simply, we create bespoke branded content campaigns for a multitude of advertisers and distribute the campaigns across our popular multi platform newsbrands such as Mirror, Daily Express, Daily Star, OK Magazine, a host of regional titles as well as additional sites such as InYourArea - this is a really exciting role for someone who is experienced within content distribution.

A pivotal role in the team, you will be responsible for a series of multi-channel B2C campaigns which drive quality audience engagement.

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified content strategist who will expand our strategic relationships with existing platform partners and will help us develop new platform partnerships.

We need a proactive go-getter and a resourceful team player, who has the combined superpower of a data-driven strategic thinker and a detail-oriented taskmaster.

You should be an excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of internal and external business partners and agencies at varying levels of seniority.

You'll also be a champion of branded content, who lives and breathes digital and social and you will thrive working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
What will the role involve?
  • Optimising creative content, placement of content (formats, platform etc), and audience segments targeted to improve yield, efficiency and engagement
  • Optimising paid social reach to maximise budgets across social content to ensure we're maintaining overall department efficiencies and spend
  • Advising and problem solving for the internal Invention team on what delivery is possible for their campaigns
  • Being responsive to ongoing channel and audience updates by using the data and insight within the business to ensure the Creatives produce effective content plans
  • Ensuring campaign KPIs are delivered in full (page views, dwell times, video views, etc) and provide bespoke reports compiled from all distribution platforms
  • Using in-depth analytics (both internal and external) to track and optimise campaigns throughout, to deliver desired ROI, to budget and on time
  • Delivering Paid social media strategies and buying for our bespoke campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc)
  • Managing all social native distribution for Invention's customers; stay informed and updated on developments across the major platforms which impact on our ability to distribute content and build and maintain strong relationships
  • Managing onsite & off-platform native distribution of all content (Teads, Outbrain, Taboola etc). Test new solutions and platforms to increase CTR and maximize profitability



The Ideal Candidate
Who are we looking for?
  • You will have a proven track record in delivering successful, exceptional branded content campaigns - in particular, their optimisation and performance across all channels, with a specific focus on facebook and other social platforms.
  • Able to demonstrable experience managing branded content campaigns across social, offsite and onsite
  • Have a strong understanding of current content distribution strategy and best practice - in particular utilising social media and existing relationships with these channels
  • Awareness of best in-class examples of how major news publishers and brands use social media to distribute branded content
  • Thorough understanding and experience in managing SEO, PPC and CRM campaigns
  • Proven tactical and analytical skills, including an ability to interpret complex data quickly - including hands on knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, and a full suite of industry tools
  • Using data and insight to ensure delivery of content-based campaigns
  • Proactive can-do attitude, flexible, willing to try new things and raise the bar
  • Process-driven and calm under pressure whilst managing multiple campaigns at pace
  • Excited about developing/growing a successful department
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience distributing brilliant social media and digital content for brands
