The Electrocomponents Executive Management Team has an ambitious strategy to embed "CI as the way we work" by simplifying the way we do things, delivering significant cost savings, revenue growth, support 'becoming First Choice' and being Customer obsessed.

CI Manager will work with the local functional teams in the DACH region at various levels as well as being part of the Group CI team; he/she will support the delivery of CI targets, lead delivery on their own CI projects as well as deliver Lean Six Sigma training & coach to increase the CI understanding, skill set & desired CI behaviours within the areas of scope.

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:
  • Work with CI Business Partners, Hub & Functional Leadership teams to deliver on time on the CI plans & targets aligned to the strategic priorities and goals
  • Recommend application of appropriate Lean Six Sigma or alternative CI methodologies (Agile, Prince etc.) to achieve these objectives
  • Help in the identification & lead delivery of CI projects to achieve financial & intangible targets, by using LEAN Six Sigma and Process Improvement methodologies, tools and techniques and appropriate project management & change management concepts
  • Display the right CI behaviours to inspire all levels of colleagues to drive continuous improvement in their areas and to sustain gains and results achieved during the projects
  • Support the CI Group Team & local leadership teams in embedding CI as 'the way of working
  • Ensure all projects and benefits are tracked and reported in accordance with the Group CI standards, accurately and on time
  • Enable results to be measured & sustained in all functions/locations, support ad hoc audits as required
Ensure corrective actions are put in place to deliver continuous results

What you will bring:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, business, functional or accounting discipline is preferred
  • A recognised certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a minimum
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing in German & English is a must
  • Knowledge in: Minitab, SharePoint & MS Office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio
  • A minimum of 2 years CI experience of project leadership with proven track record of successful on time delivery with measurable business benefits
  • Demonstrates passion & enthusiasm for CI, to improve the 'status quo'
  • Strong ability to engage others in CI at low to middle levels of the organization
  • Hands on experienced, able to diagnose, lead & deliver
  • Solid interpersonal and networking skills paired with excellent analytical skills
  • Positive energy; self starter; resilient; adaptable and flexible
