Main Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for progress chasing on plot sale transactions from reservation to exchange of contracts. Liaising with plot purchaser's solicitors for updates and reporting to residential developer clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing a high volume of chasing on freehold and leasehold plot sale transactions.
Becoming familiar with the various sales schemes offered by each Developer (ie 5% deposit paid schemes, shared equity schemes, Help to Buy) – training will be given.
Preparing progress reports on a weekly basis using our case management system, including the use of our online Portal System - training will be given.
Liaising with plot purchaser’s solicitors and Developer clients on a regular basis to ensure that each plot sale is progressed within the exchange deadline set by the Developer.
Dealing with simple telephone enquiries received from plot purchaser’s solicitors and Developer clients, which will involve liaising with the plot conveyancer.
Maintaining a regular reporting procedure as required by each Developer.
Any other reasonable duties delegated by any Partner, Senior Manager or Group Support Manager of the firm.


Key Skills and Experience:

Previous plot sales experience is beneficial, however any candidate working within the residential property sector who can demonstrate a willingness to learn, cope under pressure and be a team player is encouraged to apply.
Experience of reviewing title and dealing with enquiries would be beneficial.
Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner are essential as there is a high level of client contact.
Keeping clients fully updated at all stages of the transaction.
Effective organisational and time management skills as you will be required to work with high volumes and to tight deadlines, keep calm under pressure and prioritise workload with minimal guidance.
Able to managing own workload and also able to work as part of a bigger team is essential.
Freehold and leasehold experience generally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent IT skills.
