We are looking for an Apprentice Corporate Education Administrator to join our friendly team, supporting access to face-to-face and electronic essential and additional training for all staff throughout the trust and promoting a positive approach to training compliance.

We are looking for a team member with excellent customer service and administration skills and a positive attitude. A flexible approach to work will be essential in an environment where work priorities can change regularly. University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust is committed to offering excellent care through our tailored apprenticeship pathways. If you are interested in a career as a Corporate Education Administrator, we can offer you a fixed term apprenticeship contract for a period of 14 months dependant on your educational requirements. The apprenticeship will consist of 4 elements: initial assessment, Functional Skills (maths and English), job specific training (both in the workplace and off the job) culminating in an End Point Assessment of which you will be fully prepared. We want all our Corporate Education Administrators to become successful, competent and confident employees so we are committed to ensuring the ongoing development through a number of additional apprenticeship programmes thereafter; the opportunity to develop within University Hospitals Bristol & Weston starts here.

Once you have successfully completed all of the components of the apprenticeship within the agreed timescale, you will be guaranteed a permanent Corporate Education Administrator position, and your salary will rise to £19,337.00 per annum, pro rata.

In return, you will need to have a caring and compassionate attitude, and have the ability to work with others in a busy, pressurised team environment. The team works a 37.5 hour week, 7.5 hours a day with a 30 minute unpaid break, Monday to Friday excluding weekends and Bank Holidays. The core working hours for this role are 8.00am-4.00pm although you may be required to start earlier and finish later on occasion.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be hard-working, with strong organisational skills and be willing to deliver excellent workplace practices.
