Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Credit Management Clerk to join our highly experienced Credit and Billing Team to help our people to achieve even-greater heights. You will be based in our offices in Bristol City Centre (BS1 3AG)

As the Credit Management Clerk you will be responsible for ensuring customers invoice queries are resolved efficiently and collect cash receipts from debtors in a timely manner. Other key responsibilities with include;

Key responsibilities of this role will include;
  • Ensure debt is collected in line with procedure and monthly targets
  • Manage defaulting debtors to conclusion including suspension of services and preparation to legal action
  • Take card payments over the telephone
  • Month end cash forecasting
  • Review outstanding balances and queries
  • Manage returned invoices sent by email and update our systems are constantly up to date
  • Investigate all invoice queries received and for necessary credit notes to be raised
  • Notifying customers of credit rejections

Qualifications

About You

As the successful candidate your career history will evidence demonstrable experience in working within a Credit Risk/ Credit Management role. Due to the nature of our business the ability to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment would be preferred.

Your strong organisational skills and high attention to detail be fully utilised in this role. Alongside these you will need to have;
  • The ability to effectively handle challenging conversations and setbacks.
  • Use effective communication methods when dealing with complaints/escalations.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify errors and rectify any issues
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver fantastic results
