THE ROLE

We're looking for a data driven individual to join our growing Digital Communications team as Digital Communications Executive. Reporting to the Digital Communications Lead you will assist with the set-up, testing and analysis of all marketing emails and pushes. You must be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to multi-task with a love for fashion. Experience of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities is essential. You will work closely with other members of the Digital Communications Team and other key stakeholders across the business, in the day-to-day management and creation of our email and push campaigns and help us to scale this year in our triggered communications. You will be a highly organised individual, committed to quality work and attention to detail, and passionate about the huge impact that quality email/push marketing campaigns can generate. The Digital Communications team is scaling this year at a fast pace focusing on personalisation and growth and it's a great opportunity to join the team.

  • QA and email/push testing will be critical to this role. On-going campaign testing in different email clients, browsers and different devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
  • Prepare, test and schedule all push notifications.
  • Manipulate data and target emails/push to key regions and customer segments
  • Lead on our test & learn strategy across email & push notifications
  • Build out triggered flows and improve current flows set up to create more personalised content
  • Work closely with the Digital Communications team to continuously improve all email/push marketing KPI's including deliverability, opens, clicks & revenue
  • Work closely with relevant internal departments to ensure the email/push marketing channel is working as efficiently as possible
  • Support the Digital Communications Team with ad hoc tasks as necessary
  • Support with ad hoc email marketing/CRM projects.
  • Work with the ESP to ensure that email/push best practice is being followed
  • Analytics and benchmarking - you will be responsible for tracking the success of email/push marketing activity and providing detailed email/push reports to the business
  • Support the team in briefing in email/push campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of competitor email/push activity. Compile competitor emails, highlighting promotions and examples of strong emails.


Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role using an ESP platform
  • Analytical, adept in Excel and Powerpoint and comfortable with presenting to stakeholders
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent work ethos and good timekeeping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Solid understanding of email technology platforms, web analytics, customer databases and segmentation opportunities
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Experience with setting up A/B testing and best practice on running these campaigns
  • Highly organised and exceptional planning capabilities
  • Ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with issues or problems
  • Ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Self-motivated, uses initiative

Desirable but not essential:
  • Previous experience with a Push notification platform
  • Previous experience setting up triggered programmes for a retail business
