An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Apprentice to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. This is a varied full-time role, offered on a fixed term contract (15 months).

As a Customer Services Apprentice you will be working in a busy and demanding administrative environment focusing on providing efficient operation of the Help Desk function including all aspects of customer relations, processing work requests from user Departments, information gathering, data processing and reception duties, in order that the Site Services Department delivers a cost effective service that responds to the needs of the customer.

Successful applicants in this role will have great communication skills and a great work ethic. Applicants will preferably have some administrative or customer service experience. You will be reliable, flexible and able to effectively manage priorities. Applicants need to be available 5 days per week and work well under pressure.

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children & vulnerable adults. Should the position that you are applying for be subject to a DBS check, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust will fund the cost* of your DBS check application. Should you decide to voluntarily resign from the Trust within two years from the start date of employment, you will be asked to meet the cost* of the original DBS application, which will be reclaimed from your last month's salary. *Current cost of an enhanced DBS is £40.00 per application.
