Senior Quality Improvement Manager - Mental Health Clinical Network

The East of England Regional Mental Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Improvement Manager leading on Children and Young People's Mental Health. This role is being offered as a one year secondment (with the possibility of extension beyond this) and will be based in Fulbourn, Cambridge.

The Mental Health Network provides the organisational model that brings together patients and carers, health and social care professionals and organisations to achieve programmes of significant and lasting improvement where a whole system or collective endeavour is required to achieve improvements in service quality.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the continued development of our Mental Health programme of work. As part of the Clinical Networks at a critical time this post will predominantly focus on Children and Young People's Mental Health, with the opportunity to also lead on other projects across the mental health work programme.

It is essential that the successful candidate is able to hit the ground running, have credibility within this field and an ability to engage quickly, driving the agenda forward and delivering at pace.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, motivational, and quality improvement skills, be able to influence and encourage teams to work across organisational boundaries and hold patient care at the heart of their work. They will have extensive knowledge of programme management and experience of delivering large scale projects across organisational and geographic boundaries.

As part of the Mental Health Clinical Network team, the post holder will work alongside the Head of Network, clinical director and clinical leads, Directors of Commissioning Operations, regional and national teams, commissioners and providers to facilitate quality improvement projects in children's mental health services across the East of England. The work will include travel across the East of England.
