The Group Technology Services teams are charged with ensuring a quality operational service across all the tools and systems, and with delivering ongoing improvements and upgrades in line with business priorities. Group Technology is central to our overall technology strategy and ensures we have the tools and tech to be Britain’s largest and most loved broadcaster.


What the role entails…

The Identity team is responsible for the tools and services that enable users to gain access to the systems they need to perform their day to day activities. These tools include:

  • Active Directory

  • Okta

  • Cyberark PAM

These tools are our frontline protection capabilities and are critical to the secure running of our business within the UK and internationally.

The team is accountable for all identity services including both project roadmap delivery and support, thereby operating in a DevOps capacity. 

The Delivery Manager is responsible for facilitating the team through the project delivery and operational excellence, fostering a team culture of continuous improvement. 

Where required, be flexible to support other projects or initiatives in line with strategic priorities across Group Technology.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end to end delivery and day to day management of the Identity team’s funded projects and delivery of the product roadmap using agile methodologies.  

  • Prioritise the team backlog of work with the Identity Service Manager to ensure the team is working on the right thing at the right time to deliver value to ITV. 

  • Run agile events including planning, retrospectives and daily standups.

  • Use data driven agile metrics such as velocity and burndown to track and improve upon team performance

  • Create well-formed business requirements for work products, ensuring they are fully understood before being developed.

  • Provide timely reporting of progress to Group Technology stakeholders, highlighting key dependencies, risks and issues where appropriate and identifying appropriate mitigations


To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Experience of working with an agile product team

  • Experience of managing and improving established technical product teams. 

  • Demonstrable ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

  • Technically competent with various operating systems and workplace products including Mac, Windows, iOS, G-Suite. 

  • Managing risk, issues, action logs & dependencies.

  • Media industry experience desired but not essential

  • Experience of Identity solutions desired but not essential
