This position is part of the operations corporate team responsible for Last Mile Delivery within Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF). GSF is the operation side of programs such as Prime Now and Amazon Fresh that operate in the UK, Germany, Spain, France and Italy across dozens of cities.

Responsibilities

The Delivery Analyst will help us create and extract meaning from large volumes of data to make the right business decisions. The candidate will have to set the right vision, strategy and roadmap and work alongside with stakeholders in the organization to make it happen. The candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can collaborate with operational leaders to answer key operations questions. You are analytical and creative, and you do not quit. You will also have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:

- Work alongside Program Managers to develop solutions that are applicable at EU and WW level in the form of automated reports, dashboards or tools.
- Answer operational questions based on the data and models for the weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews.
- Simplify and reduce the manual work by automating analysis through SQL, Scripts (python or R) and providing outputs to internal customers in friendly formats (e.g Tableau)
- Define parameters and success criteria for live tests to confirm/deny hypothesis in models.
- Design, implement, and support platforms that provide ad-hoc access to large datasets.
- Work with other support teams (BA, BIE, DS) to scale projects, improve methodologies and use resources efficiently.
- Be connected and influential within the Amazon analyst community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proven work experience in leading Analytics practice.
Proven work experience with client as well as project management.
Proven work experience working with external clients through consulting.
Proven work experience of working in a research/ lab environment.
Proven work experience designing road networks and bus routes in accordance with national guidelines.
Proven experience with TRANSIT performance or equivalent success tracking measure-using APIs.
Proven work experience with Java programming language.
Proven work experience designing and creating data visualization dashboards from scratch.

Data modelling and definition of algorithms with software, scripts and/or techniques (Excel, Python, R, Machine Learning, Regression, Linear programming, DoE, etc.).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical programs.
Advanced SQL skills (Redshift preferred) with a broad range of concepts (partitioning, sub-queries, cases)
Experience with Synchro.
Experience with TransCAD.
Experience with Cube.
Experience as product owner for an application with external users.
Experience as a line manager.
Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in one European language.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in Engineering
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification in Transportation with at least two international publications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA in addition to a Master Degree in Transportation.
Experience working in with Agile methodologies
