Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Depot Quality Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced depot management team. This role will be based at our large Distribution Centre in Nottingham NG6 8YP.

As a Depot Quality Manager you will be instrumental in driving quality and compliance within the depot across multiple areas to include, Transport, Health and Safety, Environmental, HR, Self Employed Owner Drivers, ISO and recruitment.

You will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring and motivating office administrators and customer service advisors in delivering amazing service

Qualifications

What we're looking for
  • You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of quality, audits and compliance ideally gained within a transport setting. It would be advantageous if you were aware of CPC and O Licence requirements.
  • You will be a confident communicator with a passion to lead, motivate and manage high performing teams whilst influencing at all levels.
  • A person capable of decisive and effective decision-making, in a time pressured environment
  • Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
  • You will be analytical, customer focused and highly organised
  • Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability.

Additional Information

Job Specifics

You will have a comprehensive induction to DPD, this will include both a corporate induction followed by a thorough induction of our Network Operation.

Your typical working hours will be Monday to Friday. However as our Depots operate 365days a year there would be occasions where you will be required to work weekends as and when required.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
