The commitment of our 17,100 staff is key to our success. We are one of the largest local employers and we aim to develop and support all our staff so they are able to deliver high quality, safe and efficient care. The 2018 NHS staff survey results show that we have one of the most engaged and motivated workforces in the NHS. We know this has a positive impact on the care provided to our patients.

Following successful external promotions of the two existing post holders, we are seeking two Deputy General Managers to join the Integrated Local Services directorate. You will have excellent team working, management and communication skills with the vision and enthusiasm to continually develop both yourself and our services. Being an effective communicator and highly organised in your approach, your focus will be to lead, design, implement and evaluate the success of a number of key strategic projects across the Integrated Local Services directorate. All strategic solutions will be cross-organisational and multi-disciplinary and solutions will require the highest level of expertise in service improvement. The post holder will work in partnership with clinical teams, leading on core elements of operational management including service performance, development and improvement.
