We are looking for an exceptional individual who can demonstrate a real enthusiasm for patient safety.

The post holder will play a key role in assisting the Head of Patient Safety in
ensuring effective systems and processes for incident reporting, management and investigation are developed, maintained and monitored and that accurate information is available to meet internal and external requirements.

The role requires the post holder to be responsible for the management of the Trusts Serious Incident Investigations, developing a culture of continuous learning, ensuring human factors methodologies are employed in support of high quality investigations. I understand this is an automated process and the information will only be used for these purposes prior to me taking up the position at NUH.
  • Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incurs a cost dependent on the level of check required (£45 for enhanced and £28 for standard). I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of a DBS check if it is required (by deduction from first month's pay). Should I decide to withdraw from my job offer, I agree to reimburse NUH NHS Trust the cost of the DBS check undertaken by cheque or other agreed method.
