Deputy Manager (RN)
Part time, 22.5 hours per week. Three days a week to be worked as part of a job share.
Indicative hours and days of working likely to be 9 to 5 with a half hour unpaid lunch, Monday, Thursday, Friday (can be negotiated in interview). Flexibility regarding days worked is essential for training and meetings that might take place on other days.
As a Deputy Manager with Leonard Cheshire you will support the Service Manager in the day to day operation of the service. This includes deputising in their absence and responsibility for the direct supervision and line-management of nurses, support staff and other staff in the service. You will be accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice of our residents.
- Be a registered nurse, holding current registration with NMC.
- Have a level of professional development and registration (may include level 5 leadership in health & social care qualification).
- Have experience of providing direct personal and social care.
- Be experienced in managing a team of nursing and support staff.
- Have experience of working with customers who have physical and/or learning
- Be able to work flexibly in accordance with rostered hours.
