South West London Pathology is an award winning pathology partnership between three leading Hospital Trusts - St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Croydon Health Services NHS Trust - designed to provide an integrated, high quality pathology service for hospitals and GPs across South West London, by bringing together the best of each Trust's service and providing them within a single organisation.

The Role:

SWLP is currently in a process of deploying a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across all the partner hospitals and clients locations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to take on the challenging but rewarding position of Deputy Pathology IM&T Service Manager to support the day to day management of the department.

Key to the role of the Deputy Pathology IM&T Service Manager is:

- The day to day supervision of pathology IM&T and its systems. - To assist in the smooth and continued running of IT systems used by SWL Pathology across all sites on a 24 x 7 basis and keeping users aware of any issues.
- To ensure that quality, accurate and timely information management reports are available to support a range of operational service requirements
- To be an efficient and flexible member of the SWL Pathology team providing a consistently high quality and professional service to all users of the service.

You will be enthusiastic, well-organised and highly motivated with exceptional communication skills and share the values of SWLP. You must have demonstrable experience in Pathology IM&T service management with a suitable qualification.

This post will be based at St George's, however you may be required to work at any of the South West London Pathology sites as and when necessary.
