What's the role about?

In this role you would be part of the Reward and Performance team, in the "People" function of the business. The Reward and Performance team considers what reward Partners receive for their contribution to the business, in terms of pay, pensions and other benefits. This role has a particular focus on the pension element of the proposition, and will report into the Proposition Lead for Benefits and Pensions.

You will need a good understanding of pensions, and excellent excel skills.

What you'll be doing

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Support the Proposition Lead with dealing with ongoing pension proposition queries and working with the Pension Operation team (who provide JLP Pension administration) to resolve issues.

- Carry out occasional bulk calculations and data analysis in excel.

- Support in developing the best ways for Partners to access information on, and make decisions in relation to, their own pension savings, including updating and monitoring of Pension modelling tool

- Significant involvement in design and delivery of Financial Education programme, which aims to help Partners with their financial management, including, but not limited to, pension savings

- Proactive monitoring of the external pension environment (such as legislative changes and developments in the industry), including analysis of competitors' pension proposition.

- Liaison with the rest of the Reward and Performance team to ensure the overall Partner proposition, including pensions, remains compelling and appropriate for our business.

- Interaction with stakeholders throughout the business, and at all Partnership Levels, regarding the pension proposition.

- Flexibility to support the wider team in relation to other benefits and / or pay proposition.

- Drafting of papers about proposition for leadership teams, or other audiences

What you'll have?

- Understanding of Pensions

- Extensive working knowledge of Excel

- Ability to work independently and be proactive

- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to summarise complex information into simple terms to suit audience

- Strong commercial awareness

What else could you bring?

- Experience working in a Pensions related position (either in-house or an employee benefit consultancy)

- Pension related qualification desirable (e.g. PMI or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or other equivalent organization)

This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
