We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead to join our Workplace Technology team. You will be responsible for the design, deliver and technology solutions that meet the requirements and priorities defined by the Workplace Devices Manager across the range of products owned by the Devices team. 


You will be accountable for the quality of products delivered by the Devices team. You will work closely and collaboratively with other product areas and the Head of Workplace Technology to promote technical and delivery best practices, share learnings and provide expertise and support to deliver against the wider Workplace Technology strategy and roadmaps.






As a subject matter expert in both Apple and Windows operating systems and tools such as Jamf Pro, SCCM and Intune you will work with the Service Manager and Delivery Manager to design, implement and deliver the Devices strategy and roadmap. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities to embed automation into processes and deliverables wherever possible and for expanding upon ITV’s use of cloud technologies to deliver high-quality products to stakeholders. 


In this role, you will be expected to identify and champion new technologies, tools and ways of working, informed by your understanding of ITV’s strategy and business priorities. You will identify options for build first versus off the shelf options and will be asked to evaluate and compare these options, in order to make a well-rounded, data-driven recommendation.


To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:



  • Excellent knowledge and demonstrable experience of development in languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, Bash and Powershell 

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience of building on Cloud platforms such as GCP, Splunk, AWS beneficial

  • Experience of working in an Agile development environment User experience focused 

  • Strong desire to improve and challenge the status quo to drive a culture of continuous improvement. Appreciation for the impact change can have both upwards and downwards within the organisation. Considerate of the big picture of product development

  • Experience of delivering multiple projects or deliverables concurrently, in different spaces, languages or disciplines

  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault diagnostics

  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical designs to a non-technical audience

  • Expertise with Jamf Pro (CCE/Jamf 400) 

  • SCCM and/or InTune qualifications

  • Qualifications relating to Cloud Platforms e.g. AWS/GCP beneficial
