Dietetics Administrator

Band 3

Part-time, 18.75hrs per week (salary will be pro-rata for part-time)

"We are looking for a friendly and proactive Administrator to join the Dietetic service based at Dunstable Health Centre. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent IT, administration and communication skills.

This role is part time (18.75 hours per week); working pattern to be discussed at interview.

The core job role will be to act as the first point of contact on the telephone or via email for patients, carers and health/social care professionals with queries regarding the Dietetic service and Home Enteral Tube Feeding (HETF). You will need to be a kind and enthusiastic individual who enjoys a varied workload where no two days are the same. Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential for dealing with a varied and busy workload.

As part of the role you will be arranging clinics for patients in a variety of locations and assisting with other administrative duties as required. With support and appropriate training, you will be working with the HETF Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to order home enteral feeding supplies/equipment and support with dietetic or tube/equipment related queries.
