Job Description

Department Summary

The Planning team at Starcom build relationships with clients, partners, and internal and external colleagues within our Groupe to deliver powerful work that will grow our clients' businesses. Our goal is to become our clients' most indispensable partners by building roadmaps with them that will identify quickest paths to growth. We work most closely with our Strategy, DDT, Investment and Performance teams to ensure smooth management of the business overall. We put great emphasis in landing our powerful Human Experience proposition through the use of intelligence-led systems and data. In one sentence: it is our collective job to deliver brilliant work, seamless operational management, and ensure that the work we deliver for our clients and our agency is profitable, enabling long term partnerships.

Role Summary

As Account Director, you have three overarching responsibilities that directly relate to our agency Growth Pillars and internal Expectations Framework.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience required

  • Strong knowledge of key digital media channels, including Paid Search, Digital Display, Paid Social & Affiliates. Working knowledge of SEO preferred.
  • Experience planning and optimising across said digital performance media channels
  • A genuine passion for digital and performance marketing and an interest in how the industry is evolving and what this means for our clients
  • A solid understanding of the full channel mix and how offline channels can work in conjunction with online channels
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible information that clients can follow and can relate back to their business objectives and challenges
  • Experience across data and audience strategies, analytics and reporting
  • Experience working with adservers, tracking technology, measurement and attribution solutions
  • Working knowledge of tech stacks & platforms across the supply chain; exchanges, DSPs, DMPs, ad verification
  • Understanding of widely used industry research and benchmarking tools (TGI, YouGov, AdDynamix)
  • Excellent numerical and excel skills, with high attention to detail
