Digital Audit is a specialist team within our Audit practice that combines a mix of technology, data, business and accounting expertise to how we audit clients across all industries. There are two sides to Digital Audit which include; using our latest tools to help digitise the way we deliver audits through automation, AI, data analytics and innovation - known as Digital Auditing. The other side is Auditing Digital which involves auditing our client's technology to give them assurance that security and controls are in place. This includes infrastructure, Cloud, and applications.

Job Description

As a SA2, you will be overseeing engagements and will be responsible for the delivery of the Halo for funds engagements. You would develop audit solutions by implementing innovative technologies, such as Alteryx, SQL. Python, R, Power BI.. You will build a strong understanding for the role data and analytics plays in the modern day audit.

You'll get to work on technical assignments enabling you to develop skills in a range of data analytics and visualisation. As well as developing business and soft skills around the topic of data and analytics within the audit which our clients are demanding today.

Day to day responsibilities will include:
Day to day coaching of junior staff members to help them progress and configure our platforms.
Owning and delivering multiple client engagements for Halo for Funds, managing stakeholders and communicating issues.
Owning the strategic direction and day to day operations of Halo for Funds.
Data management, including data extraction and data cleansing processes;
Analytics and reporting, including visualisation of data to help organisations manage business risk establish the right controls, processes and structures to ensure that information can be trusted and improve decision-making;
To be a key link between the DA3 (Halo for Funds team and AWM).

As part of the increase in the use of technology across the audit process we have an exciting opportunity, for an SA1 to upskill themselves, and have a real impact on our funds audit. We're looking for:
To cleanse data and configure the implementation of Halo for Funds.
Capability to upskill understanding of Technologies such as Alteryx, SQL, Python and automation technologies.
To support the implementation of the new Global Halo for Funds Tool.
To be a key link between the DA3 (Halo for Funds team and AWM).
To engage and liaise with multiple engagement teams and communicate issues.

The following skills are required for this role:
Essential skills:
Understanding of current audit methodology and required documentation for the UK halo for funds tool.
A good understanding of the UK halo for funds tool i.e what it is creating, from where and what it means.
A good understanding of a range of Third party administrator reports is desired.

In addition, we expect all our people in DA3 to demonstrate:
Good time management skills , communication skills and strong ability to work in a virtual environment, using Google Hangout/Meet and other tools at your disposal to maintain contact with other team members
Strong market credentials in data & analytics working with large organisations and an ability to demonstrate knowledge and insight in data management, data cleansing and data analytics within the audit process;
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, including communication with senior stakeholders of a non-data background (being able to communicate technical issues in simple business terms) and excellent reporting writing skills;
Solid experience in overseeing projects, including developing project plans, budgets and deliverables schedules;
Experience of overseeing people both in terms of overseeing delivery teams and providing coaching to individuals;
Experience of the full engagement delivery lifecycle including risk and stakeholder management;
Proven analytical and problem solving capabilities on complex engagements; and Potential and ambition to develop a long -term career in PwC.
Experience with data transformation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlikview) and ability to embrace new technologies

At least 3 years' experience working in data analytics or data related environments.
