As Digital Engineering Process Improvement Manager you'll lead on the development and delivery of a range of digital engineering and wider business process improvement and governance activities; including mapping of existing processes, identifying gaps and recommending alternatives for improvement, process re-engineering to streamline and integrate isolated processes, in-line with industry standards, to enable technology integration and automation and support the wider digital transformation agenda.

About the role:

• Develop and maintain the digital engineering process architecture and process maturity

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business analysis, process mapping, process reengineering and translating business needs and processes into a series of workflows/steps and removing waste where possible

• Continually review and map out key processes where necessary, benchmark these and compare against best practices

• Implement new processes, and work with data owners and business functional leads to monitor and report on quality of processes

• Ensure processes are complete, streamlined to drive lean improvements and reflective of best practices, supportive of overall productivity and efficiency and aligned across the programme

• Develop and keep up to date relevant documentation, including all process related requirements

• Work with data architect and functional leads to identify and overlay information requirements onto business processes

• Manage selection and implementation of process management related tools and technologies to drive consistency in process management and enable 'what if' modelling to facilitate process integration

• Establish process governance metrics/KPIs that align with overall business strategy, drive standardisation and automation • Work with functional leads to establish process ownership and accountability

• Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

About You:

• Skills

o Business Process Improvement and Re-engineering

o Process Mapping and Testing

o Business and System Analysis

o Requirements definition and management

o Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions

• Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma certification or similar

• Experience of developing and using performance measures to identify and resolve process problem areas

• Experience of quality, lean and continuous improvement experience gained in a fast-paced matrix environment
