This role entails…
The Digital Content team commissions and produces all output for social media, websites, apps, podcasts and branded content. 

The Digital Production Coordinator helps manage the successful delivery of all projects, supporting the whole Digital Content team to make sure all first-class digital content is produced on time, to budget and compliantly in order to achieve the business's KPIs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Be a valued extension of the marketing team, ensuring excellent communication between departments to help Digital Content projects succeed in delivering business results – both increased viewers to ITV but also more customers for ITV (through our paid-for services)
  • Work with Executive Producer and Senior Managers to create production budgets for sign off 
  • Track and coordinate budgets, ensuring early warning of any problems or amendments 
  • Work closely with suppliers where relevant to ensure projects run smoothly and to deadline 
  • Ensure delivery of content to third party suppliers such as STV, in accordance with defined processes, including tracking and submitting of legal paperwork 
  • Plan and prepare logistics for shoots, conferences and other external activities including booking kit and crew, travel, locations, writing call sheets etc 
  • Regular kit auditing, ensuring all kit is counted for and an efficient sign-out process is created 
  • Ensure that best practice guidelines and templates are up-to-date and distributed across both internal and external production teams 
  • Raise purchase orders and processing invoices 
  • Assist with day-to-day production issues - for example, liaising with technical support and production teams to resolve problems 
  • Create accurate risk assessment forms for digital productions and shoots 
  • Liaise with talent agents where relevant to arrange talent travel and logistics 
  • Responsible for the freelancer talent pool, assessing CVs for initial suitability, working with Resourcing on keeping the pool regularly updated, contracting freelancers, and ensuring all access to systems and documentation is complete before they arrive 
  • Ensure all freelancers have completed any mandatory training and inductions 
  • Manage leave calendars, including booking freelancers to cover annual leave, sick leave, away days and bank holidays 
  • Manage diaries to ensure meetings run effectively with no clashes 
  • Completing expenses form and credit card reconciliations on behalf of Digital Content team 

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
Minimum role criteria:

  • Experience creating & tracking budgets in line with sign-off 
  • Experience working within a Production or Media environment 
  • Demonstrable experience of onboarding freelancers/Non-employment staff 
  • Previous experience of talent payment, raising POs and administrative responsibilities

  • A general understanding of television broadcast and production preferred, with a passion for ITV programming and digital content
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills 
  • Great problem solver, able to work autonomously and understand when to escalate 
  • Great self-awareness and willingness to learn 
  • Self-starter and flexible thinker, willing to support wherever necessary
  • Confident in working with budgets and strict timelines 
  • Knowledge and understanding of how a digital production team works 
  • A high degree of computer and numerical literacy 
  • Experience working on presentations and spreadsheets is preferred
