An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Division of Clinical Support Services, We are looking to recruit an exceptional Directorate Manager with demonstrable senior management skills to lead a portfolio of Clinical Support specialties specifically Outpatients and Endoscopy at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, in order to support and sustain our improvement journey and deliver our exciting strategy of developing an Integrated Care System.

We are seeking an experienced manager with proven ability to engage clinical and managerial teams in developing a high performance culture and who will lead their team to continually improve patient care and operational performance, ensuring that everyone works towards a shared goal of consistent patient safety, good experience and outstanding clinical outcomes.

The post holder will be accountable for the both the business and operational management of the Directorate. Working in partnership with both Divisional and Clinical Director, and supported by service and management leads, you will deliver a range of competing, challenging targets relating to recovery, safety and quality which will drive the achievement of financial and activity targets.

You must have prior experience of leading change and working effectively with clinical teams to develop improvements in quality and efficiency. You must be able to establish credibility with a wide range of individuals and relate well to the teams you lead. You must possess leadership, empowerment and negotiation skills together with the vision and drive to ensure success. You must be able to demonstrate that your leadership style reflects our values and behaviours and supports the organisational culture we have created.
