Director/Leadership Team PA Menswear Maternity Cover

This role supports the Director & Leadership team within Menswear

From Merchandising and Marketing - Product Development and Design, through to Supply Chain and Space Planning - our mission is to bring stylish wardrobe, home and beauty essentials to our customers via an easy, inspiring shopping experience online and in store that will delight them every time.

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Provide support to Menswear Director and MenswearLeadership Team
  • Manage complex diaries for both internal and external meetings/appointments/events etc.
  • Build understanding of the Menswear activities to assist the Leadership Team members and their teams
  • Maintain good working relationships with key internal colleagues and departments
  • Provide administrative support including diary management, POs and expense claims
  • Always maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Dealing with enquires from internal and external partners
  • Managing issues that surface, as appropriate, before they reach the Leadership Team members
  • Support MenswearLeadership Team meetings and away days - as well as wider department meetings - including drafting agendas, taking minutes, collating and distributing papers and presentations and following up on actions to ensure they are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Directly following up on emails and phone calls, when appropriate, and drafting replies
  • Supporting with preparation of presentations for internal and external meetings and events including sourcing information and imagery, drafting talking points and producing PowerPoint slides
  • Supporting with preparation of reports and papers as the need arises
  • Ensuring papers and agendas for internal and external meetings are collated in good time and helping to manage expectations on when work is required, and when feedback is needed, to support the Leadership Team to effectively manage their time and priorities
  • Effective delivery of tasks on time; demonstrating a clear understanding of the priorities and needs of each Leadership Team member and their wider departments

Key skills

  • Experience in a senior support role in a large fast-paced organisation and excellent communication and influencing skills is a requirement
  • Strong partner management skills with the ability to engage with all levels both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to act at pace and with resilience when under pressure
  • Proactive & positive approach
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, time-sensitive projects and potential conflicts, demonstrating good judgement
  • Foresight to identify and address potential issues at the earliest stage of their development
  • Ability to plan work efficiently to ensure own timelines are fully achieved
  • Experience of budget management
