Disrepair Multi Carpenter North
|L&Q are looking for people to join our new Direct Maintenance Disrepair Team. The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first time attitude.|
Location: Based in L&Q North London
Contract: Permanent, Full time 40 hours per week
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
Working knowledge of a building and/or housing environment
Able to deliver excellent customer service (essential)
Relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications (or qualified by experience)
Able to use a PDA (hand-held device) and on occasion a computer
Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
Must have own hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed)
Repair and replacement of baths, sinks, toilets, water tanks, wash basins and pipework
Wall and floor tiling including altro flooring.
Carpentry repairs (including fitting fire doors and internal doors, fitting worktops and any associated plumbing, fitting door frames, timber joist repairs and timber studwork repairs, Fitting skirtings and architraves, sash cords and associated repairs to sash windows, Casement window repairs including hinge and handle renewals, renewal of sealed units to all timber and upvc windows and doors.
Plastering - patch repairs, bond and set, plaster board, minor finishing and rendering
