Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Manager
At RNIB we are on an exciting journey to the lead way in diversity and inclusion. Right now as an organisation we know there is more we can be doing, which is why are seeking a talented Diversity and Inclusion Manager to help us build a culture of inclusion. We want everyone to be able to bring their authentic selves to work and contribute to their fullest extent.
As the Diversity and Inclusion Manager you will develop and deliver the Diversity and Inclusion strategy. Using your in-depth knowledge, you will provide advice and guidance and work collaboratively with Organisational Development, HR, Internal Communications and the Project Management Office to ensure diversity and inclusion considerations are embedded across the whole organisation, particularly in all matters related to recruitment and retention.
In this far reaching role you will also work closely with external advocates, especially around accessibility, ensuring that internal and external work is aligned, and supporting RNIB to be a leader in employment of people with sight loss.
We want you to bring your extensive understanding and awareness of diversity and inclusion issues to help us address the issues marginalised or under-represented employees may face across recruitment, retention and inclusion.
You will need excellent working knowledge and understanding of diversity and inclusion theory and application, legislation and policy, as well as experience in developing and implementing strategies. Equally important will be your excellent relationship management, communication and organisational skills.
