Business overview per Business Area:


Responsible for the preparation of the Support UK, Support and Music Publishing monthly management accounts for the ITV Studios division; a divisional representative in the BSC for ITV Studios. 

This role also involves elements of statutory reporting and forecast/budgeting.


To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:


  • Demonstrable experience in Management Accounting
  • Experience of producing statutory accounts
  • Experience of Oracle and Hyperion Planning 
  • IT literate with experience using MS Excel and Google Mail

The Key role criteria is as follows:


Process Responsibilities

  • Preparation of divisional monthly management accounts for ITV Studios Support UK, Support and Music Publishing
  • Support the UK acquisitions with their monthly management account submissions
  • Raising revenue and cost of sales journals to account for Music Publishing royalties
  • Raising loan payments and calculating interest
  • Entering and posting journals
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Intercompany postings and reconciliations
  • Overhead reviews
  • Balance sheet reconciliations & reviews
  • Variance analysis
  • Support the Head of FP&A with the preparation of the Support UK and Music Publishing forecast/budget
  • Preparation of the Studios UK balance sheet pack for the bi-annual reviews
  • Quarterly preparation of the Studios UK bad debt
  • Preparation of the consolidated programme WIP, development, creditors and PURP reconciliations for audit 
  • Supplementary analysis as required
  • Liaison with Finance teams in the local businesses and other ledgers in BSC
  • Assisting Finance Analyst with ad-hoc queries
  • Provide support to the key business contacts


Customer Service Responsibilities


  • Continually enhance ITV’s reputation for excellent customer service through accurate and timely management reports and analysis
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures, ensuring efficient and professional response to queries
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within Studios, RTR and across the BSC as a whole; proactively seek opportunities to improve service delivery to customers
  • Provide information for monthly key performance indicators
  • Undertake other ad hoc activities required by the BSC management
  • Identify & support continuous improvement opportunities (both system and procedural)


Teamwork & Development


  • Maintain good working relationships with other RTR teams and other process teams in the BSC
  • Work as a member of the RTR Studios Finance team, participating fully in team activities and taking joint responsibility for team goals
  • Provide support as required to other process areas; e.g. through peak volumes of work
  • Work with the RTR Studios Finance Analyst to identify and prioritise self-development and learning opportunities
