The Document ControlCoordinator shall be skilled in the use of technology to complete their day today tasks. He/she is largely responsible for independently administering andmanaging the project document control system(s) including the logging, transitingand distributing all relevant documents into the system as well as distributionto the appropriate project team-members. The Document Control Coordinatoris also responsible for coordinating/collaborating with project staff to helpfacilitate and expedite the project team's efficiencies. They should beable to communicate/collaborate well with a large team in order to coordinateand complete multiple responsibilities on a deadline.

WhatYou'll Do:
  • Independentlyadminister and manage the project (or multiple projects) document controlsystem such as Microsoft SharePoint, PlanGrid, etc.
  • Coordinatewith Document Control Manager (and/or Project Controls Manager) in monitoringsubmittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc. on the project
  • Maintainsubmittal logs, RFI logs, shop drawing logs, letter logs, etc. and distributerelevant documents to project team(s)
  • Coordinatewith project staff to help facilitate and expedite submission and approval ofdocuments
  • Compileweekly and monthly outstanding submittals log and shop drawing log
  • Participateand contribute to efforts seeking and launching new innovative document controlsystems
  • Responsiblefor the strict adherence to company safety policies and programs through thecommunication and enforcement of the Skanska Safety and Health ManagementProgram including identifying violations of the Program

  • Abilityto coordinate and interact with Client administrative document controlpersonnel on a daily basis
  • AssociatesDegree - Computer Science, Construction Technology or equivalent preferred, butexperience may be considered in lieu of
