e-Rostering Lead

Job Reference: 846-09879-RH

Employer: Department: e-Rostering Location: The Oast, Maidstone Salary: £31,365 - £37,890 pro rata per annum

The NHS is changing. More emphasis on community-based care means there's never been a better time to join us.

The CQC has rated us 'outstanding' and says that our colleagues feel supported, valued and respected, with high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

Our vision is to deliver excellent local services which improve the health of our communities. To do this we need outstanding people who share our values (CARE). CARE stands for:
  • Compassionate
  • Aspirational
  • Responsive
  • Excellent

If you are passionate about effective rostering in the NHS then this is the role for you.

It's been a year like no other as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and as part of the Workforce, information & Systems team the e-Rostering function has been at the forefront of ensuring staff are transferred to their redeployed team and paid appropriately.

We are part of an 'outstanding' trust, as rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in July 2019. Our organisation values its people - recognising our workforce is our most important asset. We are also a key player in the newly emerging Kent and Medway Integrated Care System.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to drive forward the benefits of the e-Rostering system and support managers in utilising the current system through training, coaching and process improvement.

The post holder will be responsible for the e-Rostering function; ensuring that the team provide an efficient and effective service to all managers, driving the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and developing a robust training programme to support all users of the system.

The post holder will need experience of working in a customer focused environment and be able to build effective relationships with a number of stakeholders, such as the wider Workforce team, payroll, finance, professional leads and directorate managers to support with the wide range of queries that arise.

You will need to be able to work under pressure and be highly organised.

Interviews will be held w/c 26th October 2020
