What is the role about?John Lewis Magna Park is an industry-leading semi-automated facility. Job Requirements
What you'll be doingKey activities to include;Carry-out technical planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, complying with H&S governance, legislation and institutional standards / SLAsProviding competent fault-finding and accurate fault diagnoses on electromechanical systems and building services with an ability to technically advise the leadership team or Head of Branch in the event of an emergencyAbility to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings and fault-find to component level. Required essential experience skills and qualifications
What you'll haveQualified to City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 Parts 1, 2 & 3, BTEC ONC / HNC, JIB Approved electrician or NVQ Level 3 equivalentCity & Guilds Qualification in mechanical discipline or NVQ 6018 'Heating & Ventilation Industrial and Commercial Installations'City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection & testingWorking knowledge of BS7671, 18th Edition Electrical Installation Regulations & associated legislative standards, working knowledge of Building RegulationsAble to demonstrate experience in Building Environmental and Electrical Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning within the building services industry

Required desired experience skills and qualifications
What else you could bring?• Engineering, Building Services or Construction experience >10 years• CSCS Operator / Supervisor / Manager, Working at Height-trained - (IPAF / PASMA). • IOSH / NEBOSH qualified • COSHH-trained. • Risk Assessment experience / proficiency • First-Aid / Fire Warden-trained. • PLC / Trend BEMS-trained. • Legionellosis L8 Certification / Awareness. • Welding & Fabrication experience / qualification• Maintenance Systems, Lean 6 SIGMA and Process proficiency• Ability to deliver successful and consistent first-fix on equipment. • Influencing contribution to department and branch cost control by reasonably challenging contractor proposals and quotationsWe occasionally close vacancies early in the event we receive a high volume of applications.
