Job Description - Global Commercial Enablement Manager

Reporting to the global Director of Commercial Operations, the successful candidate will work closely with commercial leaders and other stakeholders across the organisation to define, resource and implement programs that enable the ongoing development and success of a high performing sales and professional services team.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for defining and delivering the sales enablement and connected Learning plan across the global Commercial organisation including Sales, Pre-sales and Professional Services, working in collaboration with cross functional teams and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and execute the Connected Learning Plan - framework, content and effective delivery channels with a focus on the Commercial roles.
  • Lead the evolution of enablement for 'How we sell'.
  • Own the global learning calendar and champion best practice in 'virtual' enablement.
  • Lead Regional Growth Committee to drive learning
  • Work with Regional MDs, Regional Growth Leads and Managers to develop and publish robust regional enablement calendars
  • Ensure sharing of and collaboration on enablement programs across the regions
  • Evolve Sales Manager and Sales playbooks, implementing effective toolkits to support learning.
  • Develop Commercial onboarding - working with teams to maintain and deliver an effective and digitally enabled on-boarding program.
  • Manage and evolve the Commercial Library of content and resources.
  • Implement reporting and analysis to assess the effectiveness of commercial enablement and guide the evolution of the program.
  • Engage with our talent assessment specialists to leverage our solutions in the Commercial Team to inform enablement activities through assessment of skills and competencies.
  • Ensure that all enablement activities support and promote the SHL sales culture and values.
  • Manage relevant vendor relationships

Skills and Experience
  • Proven global enablement leadership in high technology or professional services companies.
  • Ideally, the successful candidate will have had personal experience of delivering effective sales enablement.
  • Experience of virtual learning tools, techniques, assessments and analysis.
  • Excellent communications skills and experience working with all levels in an organisation.
  • Proven project management and influencing skills, to plan, resource and deliver enablement programs working with resources across the company.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams and strong stakeholder management.
  • Self-starter, capable of owning and leading programs successfully.
  • Capability to inspect, and where necessary, enhance presentation material to ensure high quality and effective learning content.
  • A degree level qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Readiness to travel internationally when required.
