Engineering Manager at :

As someone with an engineering and technical background, you will be using your experience and knowledge to be a champion for Engineering at . The ideal candidate is passionate and spirited, understands the needs and desires of Engineering teams, and has a vision to improve Engineering productivity, personal development, and education across the company.

This role will start out as an individual contributor position but will transition into building and leading a team which works alongside the Developer Platform team.

About You:
    • 2+ years of experience of engineering leadership
    • Solid experience in Software Development, Design and Architecture
    • Strong knowledge and application of software design patterns
    • Experience with Unit and Integration testing
    • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment workflows
    • Public cloud experience (preferably Amazon Web Services)
    • Superb communication skills, ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams
    • Fluent in English

What You Will Be Doing:
    • Planning and organizing Hackathons, Tech All-Hands and similar events.
    • Own the onboarding process for all new members of the Technology department
    • Maintaining and improving our competency and progression frameworks for Engineers
    • Creating and owning training programs such as "On-Call Training"
    • Owning and evangelizing our usage of learning platforms such as Udemy or Pluralsight
    • Helping with graduate and internship recruitment programs.

      This role is a new one at and represents an exciting opportunity to influence our entire Engineering team through education, training, improved tooling and processes. You should have a vision for how Engineering productivity, communication, and education can be improved across a fast moving and fast growing modern Tech company.
