A career in our Experience Technology practice, within Experience Consulting services, will provide you with a unique opportunity to help our clients change customer behaviours through the experience journey starting with a strategy, then through design, and eventually implementation. You'll focus on bringing interactive tools in the form of mobile apps, websites, or other digital platforms to ensure our clients fully integrate customer and user experiences into their organisation.We help our clients enhance their customer strategies by providing innovative technology solutions that address gaps in the consumer experience. You'll work alongside the other PwC experience teams to develop technology that fosters positive customer experiences and enhances our clients approach to market.

The role

This is a consulting role with an equal emphasis on technical delivery and strong client management. You will be the client's main point of contact for the scope, requirements and solution, taking overall accountability as the Functional Consultant for individual projects, delivering client solutions using the relevant technology set. You will be hands on both in terms of client engagement and technology implementation. You will operate across the project lifecycle from presales & discovery through to development, test and training.

The Essentials:
  • Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent, we are open to strong candidates from all relevant educational backgrounds but you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 7+ years of experience, gained with a leading professional services or systems integration firm
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of digital trends and challenges across industries, gained through project experience, contribution to thought leadership, articles, client recommendation, etc
  • Proven experience in providing leadership on complex, digital transformation initiatives, working with and/or running mixed technical teams to deliver the work
  • Demonstrable track record of helping to shape successful business development of digital and other transformation initiatives
  • Discovery and design workshops to identify and meet client requirements through relevant solutions
  • Build of solutions using configuration
  • Data migration and integration using data transfer tools
  • End User Training and other user adoption activity
  • Supporting Pre-sales during development of new business with new or existing clients
  • Producing proposals & working with technology vendors to present proposals
  • Review of proposals during the presales process to ensure proposal accuracy
  • Working with the commercial team to ensure a smooth handover in to Delivery processes
  • Participate in recruitment activities where necessary
  • Demonstrable hands-on cloud based cutting edge technology experience
  • Relevant certifications
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK and overseas

The nice to have:
  • Coding experience, server side (e.g. Apex, .Net, Java) and clientside (e.g. Javascript, CSS)
  • Majority of related experience gained in one of the following sectors:
    • Financial Services - Retail and Commercial Banking
    • Financial Services - Insurance and Investment Management
    • Financial Services - Capital Markets

Collectively, we deal with the types of situations you hear about regularly in the news and we provide support, insight and analysis to the management, shareholders and financiers of business.
