Bring innovative ideas to the table as you work with and learn fromexperienced Estimators and Senior. Estimators. Analyze plans, produce quantitytake-offs, create win strategies and gain an overall understanding of complexprojects in order to develop accurate and competitive project cost estimates.

WhatYou'll Do:
  • Conduct initialanalysis of drawings and specifications to ensure required information is provided.
  • Develop costestimate by soliciting specific pricing from vendors and/or sub-contractors.
  • Provide detailedquantity takeoffs and unit prices for review with Senior Estimator and/or EstimatingManager
  • Ability to meetcritical deadlines and provide accurate information

We'reLooking For:
  • Computerproficient with ability to adapt to new innovations and processes
  • Interest inlearning and understanding the Construction industry
  • Capable ofunderstanding construction documents including drawings, standards, andspecifications
  • Strong written,communication and problem-solving skills
  • Goodmath/accounting skills
  • Potentialmanagement and leadership skills
  • Functionseffectively as part of a team
  • Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
  • Ability tomaintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Positive attitudeis a must
  • Bachelor ofScience in Construction Management or Engineering preferred (experience may also be considered in lieu of adegree)
  • Prior internshipsin estimating or construction engineering/construction management industry is considera plus
  • Ability to readplans/specs for select disciplines
  • Proficiency inExcel, Word, AutoCAD, PowerPoint; estimating and scheduling software a plus.
