Amazon's Europe Operations Employee Relations (ER) team is responsible for creating and executing strategies and programs to reduce business risk and improve associate experience. To join our growing team, we are now looking for an pioneering Data analyst (L4) who is passionate about Associate Experience and Industrial Relations landscape, who thinks/acts globally, who is a strong communicator and networker to build successful working relationships across the EU network. This person will work closely with the extended ER Team to monitor ER risks and to provide data-grounded assessment to senior leadership. She/he helps defining key metrics to measure the impact of ER initiatives and develop weekly/monthly business level reporting. He/she will also lead ad-hoc analyses to support projects, identify areas for experimentation, evaluate the efficacy of current programs and design targeted action plans at pan-EU level. The ideal candidate will be excited about using data to understand ER landscape and associated risks, develop insights and summarize findings for management & leadership consumption. The ideal candidate will have proven experience dealing with data analysis at Amazon, preferably related to HR/ER, with an appetite to work with multiple stakeholders at EU and global levels.
This is a full-time position that may require travel, up to 30% of the time over the course of the year to various Ops locations. The role reports to the Industrial Relation Principal EU.

Key responsibilities.
· Work directly with multiple stakeholder to analyze ER landscape and produce fact-based and actionable insights that guide the employee relations roadmap;
· Build dashboards that enable leaders to understand IR risks at country and pan-EU level, and to take right actions;
· Build analytical models, using ER, HR and business intelligence data systems, to inform the employee relations strategy in a fast moving environment;
· Support data analysis related to project and initiative that have an ER cross-countries impact, in close partnership with EU PMO and various project teams across all Operations Business Lines;
· Support data analysis related to EU requirements, in close partnership with local and global team;
· Contribute to global initiatives & project development, by being the ER data-PoC for EU;
· Partner with global ER PMO Team to influence prioritization and product development;

The position reports to the IR Principal, EU Ops, within the ER Operations Team. Location for the role is flexible, with Luxembourg preferred. This is a full-time position that may require travel, up to 30% of the time over the course of the year to the various Ops locations.


Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, IR, HR or related field
· Relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (analytical platforms as well as Tableau & Quicksight skills would be advantageous)
· Ability to effectively handle sensitive information and protect confidentiality
· Able to quickly define and assess key issues and challenges in data or processes and problem solve efficiently
· Fluent in English - Effective verbal and written communications skills;
· Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines;
· Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement;
· Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment;


Preferred Qualifications
· Relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
· Background in statistics methodology, applications to business problems, and/or big data
· Experience in - or strong appetite to explore! - the HR/ER dimensions
· Able to navigate through ambiguity, and possess a preparedness to get involved and do what is necessary to get things done
