**The location for this role is flexible and can be based: UK, Spain, Luxembourg, Czech Republic or Germany**

The Amazon HR team is passionate about business partnering in its truest sense. Reporting to the Head of HR, EU Linehaul, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering the HR plan for a dedicated business across a number of sites in Europe. You will work closely with the senior leadership teams and the wider HR team, utilising your excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills to lead a team of HR business partners, drive employee engagement and manage change.

As Snr HR Manager you will partner the senior operational team in your region, operating with high levels of autonomy. You will have exposure to many different aspects of the business and have the opportunity to lead on international HR projects. You will also be expected to build and lead a team to support a growing international organization.
Whatever you focus on, it will all be aimed at delivering the highest quality service to our internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:
The Snr HR Manager works as part of the regional senior leadership team, developing and delivering strategic HR plans and ensuring the effective delivery of an excellent, customer-focussed HR service to the operations team. The Snr HR Manager manages a international team of HR business partners and is an integral role in the EU HR leadership team. Responsibilities include:

Recruitment and Selection

You will also partner the EU Talent Acquisition team, helping them to further develop the recruitment plan, the employer brand and constantly innovate to ensure the business area remains an employer of choice.

Talent Management & Succession Planning
Our Talent Reviews ensure that the great people we employ are developed and grow within our business. You'll be the leader of talent development across the business area and utilise talent tools and the information they generate to identify leaders of the future. You will take on the role of a coach and will work closely with your senior leaders and the HR team, mentoring and supporting them in the achievement of their personal goals and those of their teams. Partnering with the EU talent development team, you will identify the learning interventions required for site leadership teams.

Organisation Design & Development
As part of the senior leadership team in this growing business you will use future forecasts and plans to anticipate, design and implement org design mechanisms which allow the business to grow gracefully, deliver ambitious goals, and ensure an exceptional employee experience.

Generalist HR
As an experienced senior generalist, you'll lead and inspire your team. Your open communication and credible decision making will help Deliver Results at a fast pace; you'll definitely be someone with a Bias for Action. Most importantly, you'll be fair, pragmatic and commercial - someone who is proactive, who enjoys being visible and delivering tangible results to your customers and the business as a whole.

The successful candidate will be progressive, hands-on and customer-obsessed with the credibility and gravitas to succeed in a fast moving and customer-focused commercial environment.


· Have significant experience at head of HR level within a multi-site, international, high volume, fast paced and customer focussed environment with entrepreneurial spirit.
· Proven people leader
· Possess problem solving and analytical capability; experience of managing ambiguity and analysing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium and long-term plans
· Have the ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels including hourly paid
· Have a hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable.
· Demonstrate the ability to motivate and influence others
· Possess strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills
· Have intellectual curiosity; bring valuable insight into the team / business
· Have led complex change management and key HR project implementation


· Experience of managing remote/virtual international HR teams
