Reporting to the Global Director of Commercial Operations, and partnering closely with the MD of EMEA, this role is responsible for Leading Sales Operations across EMEA.

This role focusses on general co-ordination of all sales functions across the EMEA region (including Middle East & Africa via dotted line reports). In particular you will be responsible for working with regional sales leaders to deliver on pipeline improvement plans via creation and co-ordination of specific initiatives that are managed by sales people, and align to regional marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to balance both regional and global stakeholder requirements: to deliver highly reliable operational support and pro-active advice to the regional sales leadership team, whilst simultaneously ensuring that global processes and reporting frameworks are fully implemented. Strong managerial skills will also be required to guide and support the sales operations team members in the Europe regions.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Implement operational excellence across the EMEA Region. Partner with the MD of EMEA and European Sales Leadership to optimise the regional sales organisations; territory design, coverage model and sales processes (e.g. Account Planning).
  • Identify opportunities to drive increased sales outcomes across the EMEA region. Work with key cross functional stakeholders including for example, Marketing, Finance, etc to prioritise requirements and drive implementation of effective programs
  • Drive regional adoption and adherence to standard processes and tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Pricing calcs) to enable accurate and efficient data collection and effective management of all sales activities.
  • Pro-actively identify and lead programs to improve the efficiency and productivity of the sales teams in the region.
  • Work closely with other sales operations leaders across regions to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardisation across the global sales organisation
  • Manage ad hoc requests from all business units (Finance, Compensation, Product Management, MI/BI, etc.)
  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes, including co-ordination and timely provision of insights to enable informed decisions.
  • Monitor and leverage pipeline analysis and provide regional insight and action, implement programs to support regional objectives

Skills and Experience
  • Extensive and proven business planning and operational leadership within a sales organisation.
  • Strong sales and commercial awareness to interpret sales data; draw conclusions and provide meaningful commentary and/or recommendations to the sales leadership team.
  • Seasoned skills as a people manager and change management expert
  • Experience managing programs through their Lifecyle to conclusion with visibility
  • Excellent communications skills and experience working with all levels in an organisation.
  • Experience of supporting sales teams and/or managing employees across the EMEA geography.
  • Evidence of working with cross functional teams and strong stakeholder management.
  • A degree level qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Readiness to travel internationally when required.
