We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work as an administrator for the Redbridge Children and Young People's Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Service (EWMHS).

To work in our Administration Team the successful candidate must work with compassion, respect, positivity and working together. There will be a high level of contact with colleagues from various NHS, Social Care and Education staff teams as well as with our patients and their families.

You will be part of an administration team who are often the first contact point for our patients, answering incoming calls into the service, you will be the face of our team. You will be expected to provide clerical/administration support to your colleagues as well as taking referrals and queries from clients over the phone, email and post which will need to be processed. You will have excellent computer skills and a willingness to learn about all areas of the EWMHS process and its administration. The role would be suitable for someone who is adaptable; enjoys variety, can work independently and under pressure as well as understanding the importance of team working.

The successful candidate must have experience in the following:

Redbridge EWMHS is part of North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT); NELFT is an experienced provider of mental health services for children and young people, already providing these services in four London boroughs. It is also one of England's largest NHS Foundation Trusts.

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

Assessment/Interview info

At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £3,722 to a maximum of £4,743).
