Female Talent programme, project manager - up to 12 months secondment

The project manager for the Female Talent programme will sit within Deals National (DN), and will report to the Deals Operations Director, supporting the COO and People Partner for Deals. This secondment has been created to drive the programme management and roll out of our senior female talent programme and associated activities linked to going on and returning from maternity leave.

The role holder will be dealing with a wide range of internal stakeholders including the Deals leadership team and the xlos partner office to drive the success of the Female Talent Programme and ensure that our female talent in the Deals Line of Service has all necessary support in progressing their careers within PwC.

About the role

Below is an outline of some of the key responsibilities:
  • Driving overall delivery and programme management of the Deals Female Talent programme
  • Monitoring progress against deadlines and measuring success
  • Setting up the process for identifying female talent within each BU in Deals
  • Setting up process for running progress meetings with BULs and sponsors of our female talent on a semi annual basis
  • Driving the updating and management of progress plans for our female talent
  • Logistics management for training the sponsors of female talent.
  • Working with our Deals HC teams and those about to go on maternity or paternity leave / due to return from leave to identify where additional support is needed and ways to operationalise this within BUs
  • Creating cohorts for those on maternity leave
  • Lead on communication updates for those on maternity/paternity leave.
  • Review impact of Deals Female Talent programme and work with the Deals Female Talent Steeco to identify whether additional initiatives could be included
  • Work alongside the wider Deals National and Deals HC teams and will be expected to support with ad hoc projects and requests as required.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Senior Manager who is passionate about developing our female talent. As well as ensuring high levels of operational effectiveness and pastoral care, you will have strong project management skills with a focus on delivering outcomes.

Essential skills and experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build deep trusted relationships across senior stakeholders in both virtual and face to face environments.
  • Ability to manage and lead self, evidence of being proactive and practical.
  • Ability to be agile and flexible in approach to work so that multiple competing priorities can be managed at any one time and manners are adapted to different situations.
  • Strong project management and organisation skills with a proven track record of delivery
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and deliver high quality outputs, often at pace and to short timescales with strong attention to detail
  • Discretion and experience of managing complex people related situations
  • Facilitation skills in both virtual and face to face settings
Location: UK Wide - Flexible.
Hours: Full time / Flexible working patterns will also be considered.
