E.ON is a global provider of specialised energy solutions. Our customers are at the heart of everything that we do, whether it is providing new technology for demand side response, electric vehicle charging solutions, or building the next generation of smart cities.

Right now we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join E.ON as a Finance Analyst and promote our vision of the UK's energy future in the finance department. On a day to day basis, you'll be accountable for supporting and challenging our Field Operations business, monitoring business performance, setting challenging targets and ultimately optimising performance and efficiency across the function. As well as this you will be expected to manage many complex budgets, targets and gross margin costings that come within the metering area. You will need to provide comprehensive financial support to all key stakeholders.

You'll need to be able to challenge areas of cost inefficiency, challenge revenue improvement and operational productivity and articulate financial impacts engaging with the relevant people in order to fulfil this. As an experienced Finance Analyst you'll have the ability to challenge and ensure the effectiveness of processes, procedures and working practices identifying any weaknesses and improvements needed. You will need excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of building strong relationships in order to deliver and be successful.

What we need from you

  • Newly qualified accountant or finalist (ACMA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent).
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present it in a clear and logical format.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver financial results clearly to non-finance personnel.
  • Ability to plan, determine priorities and work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge the business in its cost and revenue management performance.
  • Good levels of financial and commercial acumen.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Travel required with role so UK driving licence necessary.
