About the opportunity

Department Description

Fidelity Asia Finance department provides statutory accounting services for regulatory compliance, and business finance support to country and business heads in assisting them with business decision-making. The department works closely with Fidelity UK/Europe Finance as part of the global Finance team.

Purpose of your role

This role will support the day-to-day operations of Dalian office including handling regular tax filing, submitting external reporting and managing regulatory compliance work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Dalian regular tax filings
  • Ensure all local record to comply with internal and external regulations
  • Responsible for all tax related inspections and queries
  • Liaise with local accounting firm and tax firm on audits required by Dalian government authorities
  • Ensure Dalian company certificates and all business certificates are timely renewed
  • Apply for government incentives in due course
  • Complete local external regulatory reporting on a timely basis
  • Co-ordinate with bank on inbound & outbound payments, and handle withholding tax filing
  • Responsible for invoice compliance checking and local filing

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • University graduate in Accounting or Tax
  • CPA or CTA qualification is preferred
  • 2 years of in tax or accounting working experience, tax experience is highly preferred
  • An accounting designation from a locally or internationally recognized accounting or tax firm is a plus
  • Experience with a software development or outsourced services company a positive
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and detail- oriented attribute
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Good English language skills both in oral and written
  • Flexible and positive attitude to work
  • Proficiency in MS Office
