As a Finance Business Partner, you will be supporting key stakeholders within the business to drive overall financial performance across the Customer Services (Catering & On-board Services), Information Systems & Central Service (head office functions) business areas.

This is a Fixed-Term position of 12 months.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who...
  • Proactively challenges performance and drives change to ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved or beaten - adds value, highlight risks and supports development of mitigation plans by providing appropriate analysis and insight
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships across teams, acts as the financial 'go to person' for business stakeholders be the primary contact for business stakeholders and improves financial understanding and compliance with finance processes
  • Provides forward looking financial information to key stakeholders and the CFO, directing regular business review meetings to deliver insight and identify risks and opportunities
  • Leads budgeting, forecasting and planning cycle for your business area
  • Works with management to formulate strategic and long-term business plans, managing the completion of a 20 Year Plan for the business areas
  • Works with project sponsors to ensure a simple and consistent approach to business case preparation to comply with the Board approved Investment Appraisal methodology. This will include conducting post implementation and financial benefit reviews for key projects
  • Supports and drives ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
You'll need...
  • To be a qualified accountant with min 1 year of PQE (ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • A previous Finance Business Partnering experience is essential
  • To be independent and pro-active in nature with passion to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships quickly with stakeholders
  • The ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
  • Robust analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and make recommendations - gaining commitment at all levels of organisation
  • To be proficient with Microsoft Excel & modelling skills
  • An experience with reporting and forecasting software (Adaptive Insights)
