Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
What you’ll do
To provide leadership to the SELCHP JV and O&M contracts under your remit with regards to financial control and accounting functions on a daily basis. Reporting into the Regional FC - London and supporting the General Manager with contract development and to deputise for them when unavailable on financial matters.
Ensure that all accounting and system procedures along with accounting conventions are adhered to.
Support operations in modelling business opportunities and risks
Prepare and review management accounts and financial key performance indicators.
Ensure that best practice is followed and represents a true and fair picture. Ensure all assets and liabilities of the businesses are correctly recorded, controlled and reconciled
The experience you will need
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or internationally accepted equivalent) with substantial post qualification experience and be conversant with different many systems such as SAP, Sage, Vector, Wims, Capex, Caseware and Cognos.
You will also have experience with the preparation of Statutory Accounts for internal stakeholders and auditors, spreadsheet knowledge and experience, reporting, analytical and presentation skills. Being fully conversant in accounting conventions combined with knowledge of the operating business, good communication skills and a confident personality is a must.
Most importantly you will have the experience of interacting with all accounting/IT functions that most large businesses have.
