This is a position in the Global team to provide finance support for Service Company activities as part of the Financial Operations team within the Network Operations function.

The Manager will be responsible for managing the financial framework and ensuring appropriate controls are adhered to for one of our Network legal entities which owns intellectual property on behalf of PwC member firms. On an ongoing basis the successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of all of its day to day activities whilst working as part of a wider team looking after other statutory entities under the remit of Network Operations.

The successful manager will be a self starter with the creativity and a strong drive to deliver high quality solutions whilst working collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders in our Global Tax and Legal teams and across the wider PwC Network.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced global team and be actively involved in the ongoing development activities of a relatively new statutory company.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day activities of the new legal entity, accounting and cash flow management and the initial preparation of the annual statutory accounts whilst ensuring that the relevant controls are adhered to and in place
  • Managing the transactional accounting for the company liaising with and utilising the services of an outsourced service provider as appropriate
  • Ongoing maintenance of financial framework for the Network legal entity which owns IP
  • Ensure that the process for booking Intellectual Property assets which are being transferred into the new entity runs smoothly and in accordance with the relevant tax advice and legal agreements
  • Act as the main contact for the annual statutory audit of the new entity accounts
  • Provide backup and support for other statutory entities under the Financial Operations team remit as required

  • Organized with high attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent team player who is able to work in a virtual/global team
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Knowledge of IFRS and UK Gaap accounting standards would be desirable
