Our services include:

Mental health services
  • We provide a wide range of treatment and support to young people, adults and older people experiencing mental illness both as inpatients and within the community. This includes treatment in secure and specialised settings.
Community health services
  • Our diverse range of community health services provide support and treatment to both adults and children. We deliver this care in community hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries and in people's homes.
Learning disabilities services
  • We provide crisis support and inpatient services and our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities.
Social care
  • We provide personalised social care support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities or mental illness, supporting people to live independently.

Band 2 FM Assistant - PART TIME

We provide integrated care including mental health, learning disability, and social care and community services to culturally and economically diverse communities across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. We employ approximately 7,000 people and work with a wide range of partners 'Working to Improve Lives'. We are a responsive, innovative and dynamic Foundation Trust delivering leading edge health services in a constantly changing environment.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospital and community based premises. We have many modern community based resource centres and community facilities to provide local services to local people where possible.

Unlike acute hospital services, Community Health Services, mental health and learning disability services are mainly provided in community settings with defined geographical localities. As a result we operate from various locations across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk

The Estates & Facilities Department is responsible for delivering high quality and cost effective Estates and Facilities management services across Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will support the management of The Trust in Luton.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated team player to join an existing Estates & Facilities team to deliver Soft FM disciplines. The vacancy is working at doolittle mill In Ampthill bedfordshire serving one of our corporate offices We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as having a flexible attitude, please also see job description for competencies.

The following duties will include:

To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas. This will include vacuuming floors; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; high and low dusting; wiping over and polishing (where applicable) both vertical and horizontal surfaces, mirrors, chairs, bins, sani-bins; cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers; cleaning regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and others items in the kitchens; defrosting fridges on a regular basis; restocking consumables such as toilet tissue, handtowels, soap; descaling taps; and bins and replacing bin liners. (* Providing they have not been soiled with body fluids). cooking chilled foods for the patients

The following shifts are available: monday - Friday - 6am -9.am.
