We have long-term placement opportunities available for an FM Operativeavailable at Princess Alexandra Hospital

This is a position working various shifts including nights. The hourly rate is £10.38-£18.59 dependent on shift

Responsibilities will cover several areas such as;
  • Transport patients around the hospital on beds, trollies, and chairs.
  • Transport good and equipment around the hospital
  • Transport deceased patients to the mortuary
  • Transfer pharmacy products to wards
  • Distribute and receive internal and external mail
  • Preparation of food
  • Cleaning equipment
  • Serving meals to patients
  • Monitoring temperature control
  • Cleaning of structures, equipment, and meal service components as specialised in work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with national standards of cleanliness
  • To provide a full cleaning service to all wards and departments, this to include, sanitary areas, Ward areas and offices
  • Training will be provided in all equipment that is needed to maintain cleaning standards

  • Previous cleaning and catering experience desirable
