This role will be known as FP&A Associate Manager - Omni and Shopper Marketing Support among colleagues and within the Lifestyle Brands business. Within the broader SCJ organization, the job is graded as a Senior Associate, Finance , Planning and Analysis.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for supporting our General Manager (GM) of Omni Development, providing financial, strategic, and operational insights to help the teams deliver their goals. As the financial steward for E-Commerce and Shopper Marketing development, you will play a key role in forecasting + analysis for the Lifestyle Brands business unit (North America) as part of the FP&A team. You'll work with the Finance team to analyze monthly financial results, explain variances to budget and highlight risks and opportunities to our annual Plan. You will work independently on a variety of analysis projects to support the General Manager of Omni Development and their team: customer/product mix analysis, marketing spending analytics, and long-term strategic planning. Additionally, you'll serve as a key finance member on a cross functional team, helping shape and make strategic decisions for the Omni Channel, with emphasis the financial implications and mitigation steps at the LSB. Success will be measured on the quality, timeliness and accuracy of your reports and your ability to coordinate and communicate cross-departmentally, leveraging your analysis to illuminate the path to great business decisions.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Build the Plan and ongoing forecasts for the Omni Channel as part of the LSB with the FP+A team, working with partners in Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Marketing to drive accurate forecasts based on clear assumptions
  • Help drive modeling of the 5 year roadmap for the eCommerce channel, including implementation of recommendations to help manage profitability of the Omni/eComm channel.
  • Analyze monthly results through Product Contribution versus forecast on a timely basis, breaking down variances into business drivers that can be clearly understood by our stakeholders, and recommending actions to improve results
  • Be a clear business partner to our GM for Omni Development. Participate actively in cross-functional project meetings, providing ad hoc analysis on profitability, product development, discounted cash flow analysis, SKU & Customer rationalization and other business development decisions as needed.
  • Support the Sr. Director of FP+A in generating timely and accurate recurring reports including Monthly Omni reporting, Shopper Marketing accruals and forecasting, and other cost/distribution reviews as needed.
  • Deliver clear verbal and written explanations of analyses that translate into strategic recommendations + build trusted relationships with key business partners
  • Work with Sales Planning and Supply Chain teams on the ongoing management and forecasting of Gross to Net, including Trade, Supply Chain discounts, Returns and Terms for the Omni Channel
  • Help develop customer profitability reporting, including targets and forecasts for the LSB.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred
  • CPA or CFA strongly preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to food, CPG, or other industries with at least 200 SKUs across a variety of sales channels and brands
  • Experience with owning a financial forecast and other critical financial processes, including financial modeling, budget tracking and variance analysis, executive level analysis and experience in presenting recommendations to cross-functional business leaders
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities with looming deadlines
  • Knowledge of management reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity, with an appetite to learn about our business and underlying financial drivers
  • Self-starter attitude; ability to work independently as well as work in a collaborative, fast paced environment
  • Proven ability to make recommendations and influence financial decisions with cross-functional partners
  • Must be an excel whiz, avid and patient data miner with a strong drive for data integrity and continuously finding ways to work more efficiently
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
