Our Funds Management Team, predominantly based out of our Belfast office, provides full end-to-end grant management support to national and international grant programmes to optimise the value delivered by the grants in achieving impact and policy outcomes while maintaining strong governance and financial control.

Due to recent growth, we are looking to expand our team to include a Business Development / Sales driver at both a Senior Manager and Senior/Associate level.

The right person, at a senior level will have skills in strategically driving a funds administration business (including grants, loans, guarantees) primarily focused on serving Government and public sector clients. They will understand the funder and competitive landscape, have experience in successfully positioning services within the market through strategic relationships as well as managing responses to tenders. They will be able to work with as part of a team to lead pursuits and support the development of the propositions based on client and competitor insights.

At a junior level, the right person will have had some exposure to the above as well as an ability to actively manage a pipeline using a CRM systems such as Salesforce, supporting the development of the people and commercial sections of proposals as well as managing the related risk management aspects of bidding for funds services and contracts.

Requirements

Essential skills & experience

We expect potential applicants to have experience, varied by seniority of expected role, across the following areas:

  • A track record of successfully managing pursuits and relationships for large scale transformation / funds programmes for funders such as the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and other UK Government Departments;

  • Understanding of Government procurement requirements and framework management Experience in drawing policy insights and advice from grant management information;

  • Ability to bring strategic insight to the Go-To-Market strategy and approach for Fund management related offers based on a strong knowledge and relationships from key buyers and of key competiting services in this landscape;

  • Understanding our clients' business and showing strong commercial acumen;

  • Senior stakeholder management and relationship building;

  • Flexible within the UK, with a preference for Belfast.
