Data is intrinsic in everything we do across the firm - from audits to transformations, we can't deliver to our clients or continue to grow our firm without it. That's why we have appointed a Chief Data Officer (CDO), Sunil Patel, who will be responsible for a firmwide strategic data team. This new team is charged with delivering world class data management capabilities to enable the UK firms business priorities and growth with internal, client and third party data, such that it is trusted, protected, easy to use and provides insight.

Our vision is to encourage the responsible use of data to make informed business decisions and create more value for our clients. The Change and Projects team has a key role to play in enabling the delivery of our goals as a new PwC UK function.

We are recruiting for a Global & Network Coordinator to work proactively to maximise opportunities to collaborate and build coherence across our UK CDO, Global CDO and international network.

Start date & Duration of role
Rolling 12-month secondment, starting 1st June 2021 or sooner.
Location
All regional locations will be considered, with a preference for Manchester and ability for some travel within the UK.

Purpose
We must develop alignment, wherever appropriate, between our UK, Global and International network of CDOs. This role has a key part to play in coordinating these relationships, tracking initiatives and enabling effective influencing, and leveraging of network and global agendas.

Objectives of role
The individual will:

Work collaboratively with UK, Global and Network colleagues to establish greater transparency and appropriate alignment around programmes;
Develop and maintain network and Global CDO stakeholder maps;
Develop clarity around global and network data programmes, their implications for the UK and ensure alignment with relevant CDO teams;
Coordinate with UK and Global CDO leadership team to ensure agendas are aligned and appropriate materials are prepared and shared;
Assist with the development of UK CDO communication channels to ensure alignment with global channels;
Assist in programme change management tasks and actions required are completed in collaboration with Global, Territory, and UK Programme leadership;
Prepare insights and reporting requirements in coordination with the UK CDO Data Enablement team.
Preferred skills and capabilities
Ability to work in a complex, globally distributed organisation, with diverse, multi-cultural stakeholders
Strong communicator and storyteller, particularly confident in articulating difficult decisions and/or dealing with senior stakeholders
Collaborative across LoS & IFS
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and stakeholders, whilst ensuring projects progress
Curiosity to learn, whilst displaying resilience, cultural awareness and a can-do attitude
